The Coalition for Music Education in Canada is thrilled to  announce a new partnership with Ticketmaster Canada in support of Music Monday.   As a part of Ticketmaster’s commitment to work with local Canadian partners to help keep music alive for students, musicians, parents and community members across Canada, this exciting new partnership will allow Ticketmaster to help support a national organization  committed to  ensuring quality school music programs for all children in Canadian schools.    .

“The Coalition for Music Education in Canada understands how  essential music education is to children and the important role that music  plays in Canadian culture”, says Christine Hall, Director of Sales and  Marketing, Ticketmaster Canada. “This partnership is an exciting first step  for Ticketmaster in our commitment to helping young people have access to  music in schools across the  country”.

As a part of this initiative, Ticketmaster Canada will be  supporting the Music Monday Showcase Concert in Vancouver and providing ten schools across Canada with a $2,500 grant to eligible schools participating in Music Monday. These grants will help celebrate the power of music in Canada and  demonstrate how that power is rooted in school music programs.   Ticketmaster’s contribution helps provide a platform to inspire public  celebration, awareness and discussion around music and music education.   The winning schools will be announced in Vancouver at the Music Monday Showcase Concert on May 3rd.
